Packaging for Fast Casual and QSR Operators
Fast casual packaging has to work at speed. A container that takes two hands and five seconds to close costs more in a lunch rush than it saves on the invoice.
Takeout containers cover the bowl-and-entrée side of the menu: 32oz Medium for a single entrée, rice bowl or salad, 48oz Large for family portions and combination plates. Both include the lid, so there is no mismatched lid inventory to manage. They ship 75 per bundle with a 4-bundle minimum, making a 300-container first run.
Printed cups cover the drinks across the range — single wall hot cups from 4oz to 20oz at 700 per case, double wall at 260 per case, clear cold cups 12oz to 32oz, paper cold cups 12oz to 22oz — with lids ordered separately so the style matches the drink.
Wax paper and deli paper line baskets and wrap handheld items at 400 sheets per bundle across eight sizes, and handle bags carry the order out in four sizes at 100 per bundle. Setup is $75 once per order and reorders of artwork on file skip it.
Packaging for Fast Casual and QSR Operators — Common Questions
- What takeout container sizes do you print?
- 32oz Medium and 48oz Large, both with the lid included. The 32oz handles single entrées, rice bowls and salads; the 48oz takes family portions and combination plates.
- What is the minimum order for a single QSR location?
- Takeout containers start at 4 bundles of 75, so 300 units. Handle bags start at 4 bundles of 100, and printed papers ship 400 sheets per bundle.
- Can I print one design across containers, cups and bags?
- Yes. The $75 artwork setup is charged once per order regardless of how many products are on it, so a matched set is cheaper than separate orders.
- Do the containers come with lids?
- Yes, both sizes ship with the base and lid together, so there is no separate lid line to stock or match.
- How quickly can I reorder?
- Standard production and delivery run around 10 business days. Reorders of artwork already on file move faster because there is no new proofing step.
